The Maryland State Yo-Yo Contest will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2008 at the Perryville Elementary School in Perryville MD. This contest is open to
all ages and is officially sanctioned by the National Yo-yo League and the American Yo-yo Association.  This year's judges (so far) are "The Mighty" Tressley Cahill and A.J. "The Bus Driver" Kirk, and the contest will be emceed by Pat "Guy Smiley" Cuartero. This year's divisions are sport ladder, single A and the open division. The winner of the single A division will be seeded directly into the finals at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Yo-Yo Contest to be held in Wilmington Delaware later this year.
